PROJECT OVERVIEW

Nottingham University Hospital’s Pathology Laboratory underwent a strategic refurbishment under Project Manager Alan Byrne to modernise its workspace and ensure full HTM/HBN compliance. The project delivered bespoke Trespa laboratory benching and integrated under-counter storage, creating a functional, efficient, and safe environment for diagnostic operations.

SCOPE OF WORK

Bespoke Laboratory Benching – SRS supplied and installed customised Trespa benches tailored to the laboratory’s workflow. Designed to HTM/HBN standards, they offer durability, easy maintenance, and ergonomic workspace for staff.

Under-Counter Storage – Purpose-built storage solutions were installed to maximise space, streamline access to equipment, and maintain a clutter-free, hygienic environment.

Regulatory Compliance – All work adhered strictly to HTM/HBN guidelines, ensuring the laboratory meets current standards for safety, infection control, and operational efficiency.
